My name is Kyle McCormick, I am honored to join the Grover Cleveland school community as Vice Principal, as we embark on the 2023-2024 school year. I am committed to supporting our students on their academic journey while keeping in mind their Social and Emotional well-being. I am a firm believer that all expectations can be exceeded when a growth mindset is in place. This directly correlates to my favorite quote “Inch by inch, anything’s a cinch.”
With 14 years of experience at the elementary level, as both a teacher and a vice principal, I look forward to supporting families and staff to inspire students to be lifelong learners. I believe that student growth can be triangulated, with student achievement at the apex. The two base angles are contributions from a supportive home and contributions from the school community. As the home-to-school connection strengthens and comes closer together, the apex of student achievement is destined to increase.
