As principal of the Grover Cleveland school, I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. Although there may be some things at this time that are uncertain, one thing I’m certain of is that we’re going to be in it together. In the end, no matter what happens we are going to do a lot of teaching and learning whether it’s in the classroom, on the computer, or maybe even a combination of both. For many of you, it is a continuation of all of the exciting things that our school has to offer. For others, it is a brand new journey filled with excitement and wonder. Our entire school team looks forward to working with you, the parent, for you are your child’s first and most important teachers. Together we can provide opportunities for your children to learn, grow, and to be all that they can be, and reach high levels of student achievement. We sincerely appreciate and need your interest and support throughout the year.
As in a puzzle, all the pieces must fit together in order for the puzzle to be complete. Your help is needed to complete your piece of the puzzle in order for each of our students to achieve academic success. Therefore, we are encouraging you to read to your child, with your child, and listen to your child read every day. Stay in contact with your child's teacher, be a volunteer, and support the PTA.
